Rothenburg ob der Tauber

Local spelling:

Rothenburg ob der Tauber

This very charming medieval walled city is a must see on your trip to Bavaria.

It is a real tourist magnet, but also attracts many visitors from the surrounding region.

Every guide book of Germany has this town included right at the top of their list.

Discover the town and rummage through the unique shops found there, including the Christmas world of Kaethe Wohlfahrt.

It is worth a visit anytime during the year, not only when they have a festival.

The above links to the city are for their English site, to get to the Sights click on the Worth Seeing link at the menu on left.
